Harma Winery
Our Winery was established on commercial basis under the name HARMA at 1999. HARMA is the descriptive word, used by everyone who had the chance, to taste the wines made by our family for generations. The word "HARMA" is a Greek word meaning:"Glorious", "Smashing", "Stunning" and "Super". The main characteristic that distinguishes our wines is the fact that both red and white wines, are coming from Cyprus indigenous wine grape varieties "Mavro" for Red and "Xynisteri" for white wine. Those varieties are grown in one of Cyprus best quality area, named Pitsilia and specifically, in Kyperounta village area, that is located at the east side of Troodos mountain range. Its altitude, is more than 1200 meters, which possibly is the highest altitude vineyard in Europe.
